Wild Animal Hospital Animal Rescue Week: Call to Save the Baby Animals!
When and animal needs to be rescued, who do you call? WILD LIFE ANIMAL RESCUE. In this basic wild animal vet course we will team up with wildlife rescue experts and other local guest vets to find out what makes the bobcat purr, why does the squirrel have a bushy tail, what can an eagle see, what do worms do and a million other questions you’ve had. We will learn some basics about understanding the biology of these creatures and animal first aid. All this plus, a visit to a working horse ranch and the High Desert Museum.

Lava Lands Explorer Week: Journals, Sciences, Arts & Big Sky

Ages 10-14 San Juans: Sea Kayaks, Whale Watching & Island Living Orcas Week
We journey up the San Juan Islands by boarding the ferry. We travel to several islands including Orcas and San Juan Islands. In tow is are sea kayaks other traditional boats, the perfect way to see the Puget Sound.

Big Foot Camp Fantastic Creatures Week: Faeries, Hairy Giants & Rangers
Scientists say extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. This is the week we become those scientists, examining the evidence of a wild denizen many fervently believe in but few have actually seen. We learn to track wild animals we KNOW exist and use that experience to look at the casted tracks of bigfoot researchers with a very critical eye. Forensic science is one of our tools along with interviews with actual eye witnesses claiming to have seen the hairy giant.

Age Ranges
For 2008 we offer separate camps for students entering these specific ages.
Lil' Possums Ages 4-5 The name says it all! Lil' Possums camps are a half day to give them the experience in the natural world while having a warm and sheltered base camp to go back to. We often bring in safe pet animals like gentle bunnies and the right reptiles to help the develop a close relationship with nature.
Junior Trackers Ages 6-9 Junior Trackers are there for adventure. We use storytelling telling, movement arts and nature exploration to foster the natural questions they have about the world.
Otter Players Ages 8-10 Otter Players explore a little more and a little further! They are often out and about the different greenspaces in the city with occasional BERRY picking trips to local farms.

TrackersRITES Ages 13-18 TrackersRITES says it all in the name! We are very excited to offer cutting edge experiences that ALWAYS fundamentally shift how YOUNG ADULTS feel about their vision for life. This "shift" is done with collaborative skills that bring out the inner nature of the person. Our instructors ALWAYS take care to RESPECT the personal and diverse beliefs of the families and young people we work with.
Base, Mobile and Overnight TrackersNW camps are a mix of Base, Mobile and Overnights. For Base Camps students come and remain on site for the day. For Mobile Camps they adventure abroad and return to base camp later that day. For Overnights students pitch camp in the experienced care of TrackersNW Staff.
Staff The skilled staff of TrackersNW includes experienced regional wilderness educators on the leading edge of place-based education. We are committed to safety and fun in unique outdoor education experiences.
