Jen makes and shoots her first bow

Nature of the Village 2008 At the Nature of the Village, Jen Carman makes and shoots her first bow. She made a bow with a 50 lb draw with vine maple. We were proud to be using a locally harvested wood. One we gathered ourselves. This will not be the first bow Trackers Immersion students make. We don't just want them doing a skill once. Only under the guidance of a teacher, we want everyone we work with to own the skill. They will make another this year, and then another, and then another.
